      Top Tier Sports car

by Daniel on Monday, August 26, 2024

I have had my fair share of fun vehicles moving from older vehicles Legacy GT Spec B, IS350 2014 and 2021 Fsports, and this is by far my favorite. Overall great vehicle to daily, 6 speed manual is very responsive and easy to use. 300HP out of a 1.6l 3 cylinder is just incredible, paired with AWD that you can torque split is amazing. Highly recommended!

      Sounds impressive

But in the end I'm waiting for it to be fast but I just don't feel it in any mode. The 3 cylinder and 300 HP is nice and it's better than the 2015 WRX I had before it but when you look at the sticker price of my circuit edition being $45,000 which is $19,000 more than when I bought the WRX new but I don't really feel it's worth the sticker and interest on top of that. I'd suggest a used Celica or something that's been proven that it's reliable and a blast to drive not that I've ever been in any Celica generation but they made the AWD GT-Four in the late 80s and 90s and sure vehicles have improved over time but after owing the GR Carolla for a year I'm ready to get something different that puts a smile on my face every time I drive it instead of disappointment and questioning what I could have bought instead that I'd be proud to drive every time and it's not a vehicle worth $50,000 over time and it might go up in value like the Mark IV Supra but I'd rather not keep the car and find out in 30 years but that's just me.

Best hot hatch in 10 years

by Steve on Monday, December 01, 2025

I was carefully deciding between 3 cars. A civic type R a VW golf R or the GR corolla, I won me over with its AWD and the 6 speed manual, and styling. The other cars didn't offer all three of those things. While the Corolla has the worst interior of the bunch, that's not what Toyota was trying to do. Easy decision for me
